Privacy policy

1. Data controller

Manuel Ortega Galiano, self-employed professional, tax ID (NIF) 77379966P, with address at Calle Dámaso Torres 25, 18800 Baza (Granada), España.

For any question about your data, write to privacidad@faenup.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer because it is not mandatory in our case; that address is the contact for everything related to your privacy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains which data we process on this website and its waiting list. When Faenup can be purchased, the service will have its own privacy policy.

3. What data we process

When you reserve the launch price, we keep:

• Your email address (required).
• Your trade and the plan you are interested in, only if you choose to tell us.
• The language in which you sign up, so we can write to you in that language.
• The version of this policy you accept (landing-privacy-2026-09-28) and the date and time you do so.
• The status of your reservation: whether you have confirmed your email, when we sent you the confirmation email and, if sending fails, the attempts made.

We do not ask for your name, your phone number or payment details, and we do not store your IP address with your reservation.

4. What we use it for

• Checking that the email address is yours: we send you an email with a link to confirm the reservation.
• Keeping the launch price for you, under the launch price terms.
• Letting you know when Faenup is ready and explaining how to activate your account.

We will not send you advertising, we do not build profiles and we do not make automated decisions about you.

5. Legal basis

Your consent (article 6.1.a of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR), which you give by ticking the box in the form and confirm by opening the link in the email.

You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing before the withdrawal (article 7.3 GDPR). Giving us your data is not mandatory, but without your email we cannot reserve the price for you.

6. Technical data of your visit

Like any website, our servers receive your IP address to show you the pages and receive the form. When you send the form, we also use it to limit the number of attempts in a row and prevent abuse: it is kept only in the server's memory for a few minutes and is not linked to your reservation.

The legal basis for this use is our legitimate interest in protecting the service (article 6.1.f GDPR).

7. How long we keep it

• If you do not confirm your email, we delete the reservation 7 days after your last request.
• If you confirm it, we keep the reservation until you unsubscribe or, at most, until 60 days after we notify you of the launch if you do not activate your account.
• If you unsubscribe, we delete your reservation at that moment.

If you activate your account, your data will then be governed by the privacy policy of the service.

8. Who else has access to your data

We do not disclose your data to anyone, unless a law requires us to. Only these providers access it, on our behalf and to provide their service to us (data processors):

• Cloudi NextGen, S.L. (Clouding.io), Barcelona, Spain: hosting of the website, the API and the database, on servers located in Spain.
• Scaleway SAS, Paris, France (European Union): sending of the emails from its Paris region.

We use Cloudflare only to resolve the domain name (DNS). Neither the content of this website nor the data you send in the form goes through its servers.

9. International transfers

Your reservation data does not leave the European Economic Area: it is stored in Spain and the emails are sent from France.

10. Your rights

At any time you can:

• Access your data.
• Have it rectified if it is not correct.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Ask us to restrict its processing.
• Receive it in a structured format to take it to another service (portability).
• Object to its processing.
• Withdraw your consent.

To unsubscribe, just use the link in our emails. For anything else, write to privacidad@faenup.com, preferably from the email address you signed up with. We will reply within one month (article 12.3 GDPR).

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

11. Security

The connection to this website is encrypted. In the database, the confirmation and unsubscribe links are stored only as cryptographic fingerprints, never in clear, and access to the data is restricted.

12. Minors

Faenup is designed for professionals. If you are under 14, do not join the list.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with a new date and a new version id. If the change affects what you accepted, we will let you know and, where necessary, ask for your consent again.
