Verifactu, explained without the fear
Invoicing software will have to send the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) a record of every invoice. What you pay and when does not change: what changes is that the invoice is registered the moment it is issued and carries a QR code.

What is Faenup?
Faenup is an invoicing app for the self-employed and small service businesses in Spain, designed to be used from your phone: quotes, invoices with Verifactu, payments and access for your accountant. It will be available in Spanish, Catalan, Galician, Basque, English, French, Portuguese and Italian. Faenup prepares; your adviser files.
Can I use Faenup yet?
Not yet. Faenup is in development and does not have a confirmed launch date. If you reserve your place, we will email you as soon as it can be used.
What does reserving my launch price mean?
You leave your email and confirm it with the link we send you. We then keep the launch price for you and let you know when we open. You pay nothing now and are under no obligation to subscribe.
How much will Faenup cost?
Excluding VAT: Autónomo €14 a month, Negocio €39 a month and Gestoría €6 a month per client company (minimum 5). Paying yearly gives you 2 months free. The launch price is €9, €25 and €4 a month, respectively. Paying yearly, the launch price is €90, €250 and €40 a year.
What happens to the launch price if I cancel and come back?
You lose it: if you cancel and come back later, you will pay the price in force at that time. The launch price is only kept while your subscription stays active without interruption. The offer is available until 1 July 2027 or for the first 500 accounts, whichever comes first.
When does Verifactu become mandatory?
Under Royal Decree-law 15/2025, from 1 January 2027 for companies (Corporate Income Tax payers) and from 1 July 2027 for the self-employed and all other taxpayers. Faenup will send the AEAT the record of each invoice when it is issued.
Where is my data stored?
On servers located in Spain, in Barcelona. Emails are sent through a provider in the European Union. This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who is behind Faenup?
Faenup is developed by Manuel Ortega Galiano, a self-employed developer based in Baza (Granada, Spain). You can write to us at soporte@faenup.com.
Does it work for accounting firms?
Yes. Your customers will be able to give their accountant read-only access at no cost to the firm. The Gestoría plan, at €6 a month per client company (€4 with the launch price), is for firms that manage many companies from one dashboard.
How do I leave the list?
Every email we send you has a link to unsubscribe; when you use it, we delete your data. You can also write to privacidad@faenup.com.
